IMPORTANT: Please forward the following information to your customer when sending the tracking notification.
It is extremely important that your customer carefully inspects the shipment before accepting delivery.
If there is any visible damage to the packaging, box, or pallet, the customer must write "DAMAGED" on the delivery receipt or Bill of Lading (BOL) before signing.
If the customer does not have enough time to inspect the shipment thoroughly at the time of delivery, they should write "PENDING INSPECTION" on the Bill of Lading (BOL) before signing.
For FedEx Ground shipments, customers should inspect the package carefully before accepting delivery.
Please note: If the customer signs the delivery receipt or BOL without noting "DAMAGED" or "PENDING INSPECTION," the shipment will be considered received in good condition. At that point, responsibility for any concealed or transit damage may become the customer's, and the carrier may deny any damage claims.
